Patti Towhill’s Session on September 8, 2008

Colony Collapse Disorder is a mysterious syndrome which has killed one third of the honeybees in North America. The overall health of our planet and our food supply is weakened by this devastating loss of pollinators. In my own 2.5 acres of natural land, I have not seen one honeybee in over two years. For more information, visit http://www.pbs.org/wnet/nature/episodes/silence-of-the-bees/update-on-colony-collapse-disorder-oct-2007/41/#hide The WPH repatterning on September 8th will focus on assisting the honeybee species in whatever way is best for them; and on assisting scientists, beekeepers and farmers who are working to help the honeybees.

  1. My session notes will be posted at the WPH site later this week. The session included the following sections of the Resonance Repatterning system:
    + Orientation (Entrainment and Zip-Ups)
    + Problems into Opportunities
    + Intentions for New Posibilities
    + Communicating Feelings Relationship Repatterning
    + Relationship Modality

While it is easy to see the human perspective, such as withering crops from lack of pollination, it is not common for people to look at a problem through the viewpoint of a honeybee. I feel fortunate to have lived in a home for two years that had beehives on the property. I learned to love and respect them. I enjoyed learning about honeybees, their society and their importance on our planet.
This made it easier for me to take the honeybees’ perspective in doing the proxy session for them. In encourage all WPH practitioners to do some research before their sessions on specific topics.

I very much enjoy giving sessions for animals and find that my intuitive abilities help me find statements from their points of view. This was also true of the session I gave today for the honeybees.

There are two interesting bits of timing that have occurred around this session. First, after not seeing even one honeybee on my property for two years, I did see one the other day, loaded down with pollen on a dandelion. I had been planning to pick the dandelions so they would not propagate themselves in my lawn, but when I saw the bee, I decided to leave the dandelions alone. While I have been leaving the clover when I mow my lawn, I have thought of dandelions as pests. I now will leave a patch as food for our honeybee friends.

The second interesting thing that happened was after the session on September 8, I immediately went online to search for any news about Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD). A whole new list of sites came up that were not there last week! The reason is that on September 6, it was one year since major media announcements were made about CCD. Ineresting timing.

I really had thought the session would be around resonance with the pathogens and pollutants that are weakening and killing the honeybees. I was surprised when the muscle checking indicated issues related more to stress, feelings and relationships. Less of the physical and more of the higher level issues.

One last note: The Earth Element Relationship modality that was needed was to dance, close to the ground, with the yellow scarf. I muscle checked that this was to be done inside my home to a certain track on a Native American music cd: Tribal Winds, a compilation of flute music. The song needed was named Eagle’s Journey by Andrew Vasquez. At first, I thought that didn’t sound very ‘earthy’ but then I remembered what great flyers honeybees are. It is fun to watch them zoom in and out of their hives at breakneck speeds. I began dancing with the yellow scarf and started to laugh because I was wearing a black tank dress, so I was dressed in yellow and black, just like a bee! I also found it natural for me to buzz from plant to plant as I danced. It was a lot of fun to just go with my creativity and then see how coherent it was to the session.

I hope you have enjoyed reading this and will make your own comments. I hope to folllow up as there is more news about Colony Collapse Disorder.

Please plant bee-friendy flowers in your yard and do not use pesticides.

    Much Thanks,
    Patti
